I was riding my bike through Orrington, lost on hilly country road somewhere east of the Penobscot River and south of Brewer Lake, I stumbled on this little gem of a church.

A paint job as white as milk. A folk art weather vane shaped like an arrow with a strange gear-shaped tail feather. The leaves fit around the steeple like an old fall jacket; and the sky was a perfect blue.

I had to take a picture.

Nice photo of the Center church that I was baptized in many years ago.
